2Faced Dance Moves To UKC For Re-Brand

UKC Company (formerly known as Language) has won a competitive pitch to deliver a full rebrand and marketing strategy for one of the UK’s leading dance companies.

The appointment will see UKC create a new identity for the contemporary urban dance company, 2Faced Dance, as it approaches its fifteenth year of operation. The Manchester-based agency will, in addition, completely redevelop the organisation’s website and deliver an extensive marketing and communications strategy.

Established in 1999, 2Faced Dance is an all-male dance company that specialises in athletic contemporary performances. Since 2012 it has been awarded National Portfolio Organisation status by Arts Council England.

This latest contract win underpins UKC Company’s ongoing commitment to working with exemplar arts organisations in the UK, following previous projects for Unlimited Theatre, 30 Bird Productions and London-based theatre company Ridiculusmus.

Ben Hui, MD of UKC Company, said: “UKC Company remains a proud supporter of the rich arts and culture sector in the UK, so it is always a delight when we are chosen to help organisations in the industry to raise the profile of their work. We are looking forward to reflecting the creative energy 2Faced Dance encapsulate within their performances throughout their marketing and communications activities.”

Tamsin Fitzgerald, artistic director of 2Faced Dance added: “As we approached our 15th anniversary, and began to explore new areas of work, it became apparent that it was the perfect time to revitalise our brand. It was critical that the agency we appointed had a deep understanding of the challenges faced by arts organisations such as ours, and I’m pleased to say that UKC has demonstrated a true affinity with the aims and objectives of 2Faced Dance.”
